Tracey Ramsey has stood up for people in Essex who have been struggling through the pandemic. She has tirelessly adocated for people and workers in Long Term Care homes and continues to support the work of people on the front lines. Tracey is a National Organizer with UNIFOR, ensuring stable, safe and respectful workplaces for those who struggle against the unfair practices of their employer. As a former Member of Parliament for Essex, Tracey worked as NDP’s Critic for International Trade, standing up for trade deals that put workers first. As Deputy Labour Critic she brought the issues of working people to the House of Commons proposing solutions and standing up against job losses.
Tracey is the Ontario Health Coalition Windsor Co-Chair. She believes deeply in justice and has spent the pandemic fighting for families, residents and front line workers in Long Term Care. She has also raised funds to provide PPE to migrant workers, along with organizing weekly food drops to them across the county in quarantine and their homes.
Tracey is someone you can trust to fight for you and your family. She continues to push for progressive policies to improve the lives of people in Essex. There is no one who will serve the riding with more hard work, dedication and heart.
Tracey lives in Belle River with her husband Germaine, sons Max and Maliq.
